Paul Champoux, owner of Champoux Vineyards, is considered one of the finest wine grape growers in the country. Two years ago, he was bitten by a mosquito, and the resulting West Nile virus paralyzed him. He has worked hard to recover for the past two years and is almost able to walk again. Here, he talks about his vineyard, his illness and a new grape variety he is playing with.
